Emmanuel Iortimbir popularly known by his stage name Everest is a son of Iortimbir Ajabu, a Tiv Traditional singer from Ushongo LGA of Benue State. A graduate of Sociology from Benue State University and currently resides in Gboko pursuing his musical career.

His song "Ortiv  Kpoo-kpoo" which means a real Tiv Man, is a song to listen to very educative and entertaining. The song was produced by Trevor of Black Beat Productions.
